⢠Officers currently holding posts in the pay scale of Rs. 80,000 ā Rs. 2,20,000/-
(Pre-revised: Rs. 32,900 ā 58,000/-) in the Traffic Department of any Major Port Authority.
⢠Must have a minimum of 3 years of regular service in that grade.
B. For Deputation (Secondary Mode):
Option 1:
⢠Officers holding the post of Traffic Manager or equivalent in the Traffic Department
in the pay scale of Rs. 1,00,000 ā Rs. 2,60,000/-.
⢠Must have 2 years of regular service in the grade.
⢠From Central Government, State Governments, Union Territory Administration,
PSUs, or Autonomous Bodies (other than Major Port Authorities).
Option 2:
⢠Officers holding the post of Senior Deputy Traffic Manager or equivalent in the
pay scale of Rs. 80,000 ā Rs. 2,20,000/- and above.
⢠Must have 5 years of regular service in the grade.
C. For Direct Recruitment (Tertiary Mode, if above methods fail):
⢠Educational Qualification: A degree from a recognized university.
⢠Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in Shipping / Cargo Operations /
Railway Transportation in the executive cadre of an Industrial, Commercial, or
Government Undertaking.
⢠Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
General Eligibility Conditions:
⢠No major or minor penalties in the last 10 years (or details to be submitted).
⢠No pending disciplinary or vigilance proceedings.
⢠Clean integrity record, as certified by Head of Office.
⢠APARs / ACRs for the last 5 years (2021-22 to 2025-26) with an overall grading
not below "Very Good" are mandatory for consideration.

Step 2 ā Fill the application form:

Step 4 ā Attach self-attested documents:
Enclose self-attested copies of education certificates, experience certificates, age proof, and the following:
(i) Attested APARs/ACRs for the last 5 years (2021-22 to 2025-26), attested by an officer not below the rank of Deputy HoD on each page. If any year's APAR is unavailable, a "No Report Certificate" must be provided along with APARs of preceding years.
(ii) Attested copies of other relevant certificates.
(iii) No-Objection Certificate from the respective port.
(iv) An undertaking by the applicant confirming non-withdrawal if selected.
(v) Certificate from the Head of Office (as per Annexure-II of the notification).
(vi) Vigilance/Administrative clearance from the concerned port (as per Annexure-III of the notification).
