𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 The Office of the District Judge, Kalahandi, Bhawanipatna has invited applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to five categories of ministerial and clerical posts within the district judiciary. This recruitment covers the posts of Junior Clerk, Junior Typist, Copyist, Stenographer Grade-III, and Salaried Amin, conducted under the Odisha District and Civil Courts' Judicial Staff Services Rules, 2008, along with subsequent amendments. Appointments will be made on a regular basis, though they remain subject to the outcome of a writ petition pending before the Hon'ble High Court of Orissa, Cuttack. 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 For 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗸, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗖𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲-𝗜𝗜𝗜 : Candidates must have passed at least a +3 examination, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university, along with a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institute. Candidates must be citizens of India, aged between 18 and 42 years as on 13 August 2026, with age relaxation available for reserved categories as per applicable rules. Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Odia, and must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. Standard. Good character, sound health, and a good physique free from bodily infirmity are also required, and married candidates must not have more than one living spouse. For 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗺𝗶𝗻 : Candidates must have passed the Matriculation examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognised board, along with Revenue Inspector Training. The age limit is the same 18 to 42 years as on 13 August 2026, with the same relaxation norms for reserved categories. Candidates must also pass the Odia language test at M.E. Standard, possess basic computer knowledge, and meet the same character, health, and marital-status conditions applicable to the other posts. Selection Process Selection to these posts is made through a written examination followed by post-specific practical tests and a final viva-voce. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩) 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 1 – Written Examination: For Junior Clerk and Copyist, a general written test. For Stenographer Grade-III and Junior Typist, sections in Arithmetic, General Knowledge, and Computer Science. For Salaried Amin, Arithmetic, Technical Knowledge in Survey and Settlement, English, and Odia Handwriting. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 2 – Practical/Skill Test: Junior Clerk and Copyist candidates proceed to a Computer Science Practical Test. Stenographer Grade-III and Junior Typist candidates take a Shorthand and Typewriting Test (via computer, English only), followed by the Computer Science Practical Test. Salaried Amin candidates take a Technical Knowledge in Survey and Settlement practical test. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 3 – Viva-Voce: Qualifying candidates are called for a final viva-voce assessing alertness, general outlook, and suitability for the post. Step 4 – Final Selection: Merit is decided on cumulative performance across the written test, practical/skill test, and viva-voce. 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 This recruitment follows an offline application mode only. Candidates need to obtain the prescribed Form-A format, fill it in completely by hand, and sign it in full. A separate application must be submitted for each post applied for, with the post name clearly written in capital letters on top of the application and the envelope.
