𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 CERSAI, the Central Registry of Securitisation Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India, is a Government of India undertaking registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. It functions as a central registry for recording security interests on movable, immovable, and intangible properties linked to bank and financial institution lending. CERSAI also operates the Central KYC Records Registry for entities regulated by RBI, SEBI, PFRDA, IRDA, and IFSCA, and manages a public-facing portal under the BUDS Act, 2019, carrying information about deposit-taking entities. Through Advt. No. 01/2026, CERSAI has invited applications for 16 officer-level posts on a regular, permanent basis, offering a stable career in the financial regulatory ecosystem with structured growth opportunities. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 This recruitment drive covers a wide spectrum of roles ranging from senior management positions such as Deputy General Manager to entry-level roles like Assistant Manager. The posts span departments including Information Technology, Legal, Human Resources, Risk and Compliance, Security Interest Operations, CKYC Operations, and Administration. Selected candidates will be posted at CERSAI's Head Office in New Delhi, although they may be transferred to other locations if CERSAI opens additional offices in future. 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 Eligibility differs significantly across the 16 posts, covering qualifications, age limits, and experience requirements. 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 : Requirements range from a basic graduation degree in any discipline to specialised degrees such as B.Tech/MCA/BCA for IT roles, LLB for the Legal post, and MBA/PGDM in HR for the HR & Training role. Most posts require a minimum of 50% marks at the qualifying level, along with relevant professional certifications such as CISM, PMP, Prince2, CISSP, or CIPP, depending on the post. 𝗔𝗴𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁 : The upper age limit varies from 35 years for entry-level Manager and Assistant Manager posts to 45 years for senior Assistant General Manager posts, and 40 years for Chief Manager and Senior Manager posts. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC-NCL, PwBD candidates, and Ex-Servicemen as per standard government guidelines. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 : Most posts require relevant post-qualification work experience ranging from 3 years for Manager-level posts to 13 years for the Deputy General Manager post, gained in a Scheduled Commercial Bank, PSU, CPSE, or a reputed private organisation in the relevant functional area. Only full-time, document-supported experience is considered valid. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 : Applicants must be Indian citizens, or belong to one of the other eligible categories specified under the official notification, such as subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, or persons of Indian origin who migrated from specified countries with the intention of settling permanently in India. Selection Process The selection process for most posts (except Post Code 1 and Post Code 16) consists of an Online Written Examination followed by a Personal Interview. For the Deputy General Manager post, selection is based on Group Discussion and/or Personal Interview, without a written test. For the Assistant Manager (PA to MD) post, the process includes a qualifying written test, a Skill Test, and a Personal Interview. 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 (𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩 𝐛𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩) 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 1: Online Registration and submission of application along with the prescribed fee. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 2: Download of Admit Card for the Online Examination from the official website. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 3: Appearing for the Online Written Test, which carries 150 marks and runs for 120 minutes, covering Numerical Ability, Aptitude, General Knowledge, Professional Knowledge, and a qualifying English section. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 4: Shortlisting of candidates for interview, based on written test performance, up to six times the number of vacancies per post. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 5: Document Verification at the time of interview, where candidates must produce original certificates relating to age, qualification, experience, and category. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 6: Personal Interview, carrying 100 marks, conducted at New Delhi. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 7: Final Merit List preparation based on combined performance in the written test and interview. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 8: Medical Examination and background verification before issuance of the final offer of appointment.
