About
The Office of the District Judge, Dhenkanal, operating under the Government of
Odisha, has officially released Recruitment Advertisement No. 02/Rect./2026 dated
15 May 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 20 vacancies across four different
clerical and technical posts within the Dhenkanal Judgeship. Appointments will be
made under the Odisha District and Civil Courts' Judicial Staff Services (Method of
Recruitment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2008 and all amendments applicable
thereto.
This is a regular government recruitment offering a stable career in the judiciary
service of Odisha. Candidates selected will receive fixed monthly salaries as per the
ORSP (Odisha Revised Scale of Pay) Rules, 2017, along with Dearness Allowance and
other government allowances as applicable.
Descriptions
The District Court of Dhenkanal invites applications from eligible Indian citizens
residing in Odisha or meeting the prescribed criteria for the posts listed below.
All posts are in the regular pay scale and carry full government service benefits.
The recruitment is subject to the outcome of W.P.(C) No. 1273/2014 pending before
the Hon'ble High Court of Orissa, Cuttack.
Candidates are required to submit applications in the prescribed Form-A
(Annexure-I) format only. Applications must be sent through Speed Post or
deposited in the Drop Box at the Civil Court premises, Dhenkanal. No application

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
A · For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist & Stenographer Grade-III
➤ 1 · Citizenship
Must be a citizen of India.
➤ 2 · Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed +3 Examination (Bachelor’s Degree) or equivalent qualification from a recognized University.
➤ 3 · Computer Qualification
Must possess at least a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
➤ 4 · Odia Language Requirement
Candidates must be able to speak, read, and write Odia and must have passed Odia as a subject at least up to M.E. Standard.
➤ 5 · Age Limit
Must be between 18 years and 42 years as on 01 May 2026.
➤ 6 · Character
Candidates must be of good moral character.
➤ 7 · Health Condition
Must be physically sound, healthy, and free from any organic defects.
➤ 8 · Marital Status
Candidates having more than one living spouse are not eligible.
B · Additional Requirement for Junior Typist
➤ Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute on Computer.
C · Additional Requirement for Stenographer Grade-III
➤ Minimum shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.
➤ Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute on Computer.
D · Eligibility for Salaried Amin
➤ Educational Qualification
Must have passed H.S.C. Examination (Class 10th) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
➤ Training Qualification
Must have completed Revenue Inspector Training from a Government or recognized institution.
➤ Computer Knowledge
Candidates should possess working knowledge of Computer Application.
➤ Other Conditions
Conditions relating to citizenship, language, character, health, and marital status shall remain applicable.
➤ Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 42 years as on 01 May 2026.

· Caste certificate (for SC/ST/SEBC candidates)
· Employment Exchange Registration Card (if available)
· Disability certificate (for PwD candidates)
· Sports Identity Card (if applicable)
· Discharge certificate + Affidavit (for Ex-Servicemen)
· Marital Declaration (if married)
· Conversion Certificate (if awarded grades instead of percentages)
· No Objection Certificate from employer (if in government service)
