𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is one of the country's leading Maharatna public sector enterprises in the steel manufacturing industry. To strengthen its technical, digital and managerial capabilities, SAIL has invited applications for engagement of Young Professionals across its Rourkela Steel Plant and its Ranchi-based units, namely the Management Training Institute, SAIL Safety Organization and SAIL Digital Transformation Division. This recruitment drive is aimed at bringing in experienced professionals from engineering, information technology, finance, human resources and creative disciplines to work on specialised and critical assignments. 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 Applicants must be Indian nationals who have completed 23 years of age as on 03 July 2026. Educational qualification and work experience vary according to the post applied for. For example, the Civil/Structural Design Engineer post requires a full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of post-qualification design experience, while the AI Engineer post requires a B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science or IT along with 3 years of experience in Python, machine learning and deep learning. The Blast Furnace Process Expert post needs a Metallurgical Engineering degree with 6 years of relevant experience, and the Vibration Analyst post requires a Mechanical Engineering degree along with Vibration Analyst Category-II certification and 10 years of condition monitoring experience. Upper age limit ranges from 35 years for most Grade-1 posts to 38 years for Grade-2 and 42 years for the Grade-3 post. For posts based at MTI, SSO and SDTD Ranchi, candidates need relevant degrees in HR, instructional design, computer applications or fine arts/animation along with 3 years of matching experience. In all cases, the employing organisation of the candidate's prior experience must be a Public Sector Undertaking, Government organisation, Public Limited Company, or a private firm having a valid CIN.
